How does DERMAPORE+ work?
DERMAPORE+ uses two different technologies to help infuse skincare products: high-level ultrasonic vibration and ionization. The combination of these two technologies helps the active ingredients in your favorite skincare products penetrate more deeply into your skin. Here’s a quick breakdown of how each technology works:
Ultrasonic vibration: DERMAPORE+ uses ultrasonic vibration at 35k Hz (the highest level on the market) to create a gentle, pulsing, “micro massage” sensation. This helps boost your skin’s microcirculation, which increases blood flow to the deeper layers of your skin. “When you’re able to increase microcirculation, your skin can absorb the active ingredients in skincare products more effectively,” explains licensed master esthetician Billie Jo Bond.

Ionic technology: The DERMAPORE+ device has a custom curved, stainless-steel spatula with a positive ionic charge. When you glide the device over your skin, the ionic charge helps to “push” the active ingredients in your skincare products deeper into your skin.
Don’t worry about getting zapped when you’re using DERMAPORE+ Infuse Mode—you won’t feel anything when the ionic technology is working its magic. Unlike microcurrent technology (which does require a special conductive gel to prevent zaps), the ionic technology in DERMAPORE+ works with any serum, moisturizer or sheet mask.
How to use DERMAPORE+ Infuse Mode
Step 1: Apply your skincare products to a clean face. You can use DERMAPORE+ Infuse Mode with any serum, moisturizer or sheet mask.
Step 2: Activate Infuse Mode by pressing twice. Keep your fingertips on the silver strip—this allows the ionic technology to function.
Step 3: Glide and glow! Glide the flat part of the spatula (labelled “Infuse”) over your skin. You’ll feel a gentle micro-massage sensation. When you’re done, just pat in any excess product.
