Who can use DERMAPORE+?
If you want the TL;DR version, here you go: Anyone can use the DERMAPORE+ Ultrasonic Pore Extractor + Skincare Infuser—all ages, all skin types and all genders, including guys! In fact, we’ve gotten quite a few comments from guys who count on DERMAPORE+ to keep their pores clear. “Works awesome to reduce inflammation and help pore health,” says user Steven C. We’ve also received comments from parents who’ve given a device to their sons (or daughters) to prevent them from picking at their skin and causing damage. “It works well for my teen kid at cleaning out the dirt without them squeezing and picking at their face,” says DERMAPORE+ customer Shawn P.
How does DERMAPORE+ work?
The device uses a combination of Ultrasonic + Ionic Technology to gently unclog pores—no picking, poking or squeezing with your fingers, and no damaging sharp metal tools. This eliminates the possibility of scarring and prevents acne-causing bacteria from being transferred to your skin (something that can easily happen if you’re attempting to squeeze pores with your fingers).
In Extract mode, the device is designed to be used with PREP MIST. When you mist your face and glide the stainless-steel spatula over clogged pores, the high-level ultrasonic vibrations create a “water force” that loosens all the gunk trapped in your pores. At the same time, the ionically charged spatula works to attract the gunk and draw it out safely. You’re not putting excess pressure on your skin, and you’re not damaging the pore lining—you’re using a high-tech tool to gently draw out pore-clogging debris.
How do I get the best results with DERMAPORE+?
As we mentioned, always start by generously misting your face with PREP MIST. And if your skin dries out during use, simply re-mist. Hold your device at a 45° angle and use your other hand to hold your skin taut. Press the power button once to activate Extract mode and glide over clogged areas. You’ll notice the custom-curved spatula is ideal for removing clogs and blackheads around your nose. You’ll also notice some gunk building up on the spatula—just wipe it off as needed! You can use DERMAPORE+ as often as you like. If you have oily or clog-prone skin, you’ll benefit from more frequent use. Those with normal or dry skin can use the device less frequently.
